Houston Methodist Willowbrook asked Johnston to build out an enclosed, elevated connector bridge between the existing Hargrave medical office building and the North Pavilion. The connector bridge is 15’ in width, has a new exterior enclosure and ties into the existing buildings. The intended use of the connector bridge is for more efficient back of the house functions and circulation for staff and patient transport.
The project also included approximately 6,305 SF of shell space to be finished out, and 680 SF of new connector to be built from the Hargrave Medical Office Building to the Central Plant Building, which included new structure, skin, roof, tie-in into the existing buildings and finish out.
