On May 15, 2000 MJDII Architects, Inc. opened for business in Addison, Texas. From the beginning, the building management began utilizing MJDII for space planning and suite renovation designs. Over the years we have had the opportunity to work with Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 clients in the advanced technology, microelectronics and advanced industrial manufacturing industries. 

 In October 2021, Johnston, LLC acquired MJDII, integrating two client-centric firms who have similar values, diversity and culture, while keeping those values top of mind: Trust. Respect. Integrity.

 Johnston and MJDII, with over 40 years of combined experience, have expertise in advancing technology, industrial, manufacturing, aviation and research facilities, as well as for healthcare, government and commercial clients.
